Black Side Cutout Dress

-Black side cutout dress from H&M - £12.99
-Black round toe platform high stilettos from Dune -
-Gold one piece oval necklace -
Hello!
I am pleasantly surprised that this is my second post this week seeing as I'm swamped with all the work I've been assigned for my two internships...But hey this is so much more fun and interesting!
I believe that cutout dresses could be perfect for those who are not comfortable in wearing crop tops. With strategically placed cutouts that flash enough skin to draw attention, yet leave little to imagination, they seem to offer a great alternative to crop tops, and you don't need abs to work this trend. In fact, this fad has hit the red carpet and has gained a lot of popularity lately.

I wore this dress on a night out in Boujis, London and absolutely loved it. The fact that it was black allowed me to combine it with different accessories of different styles and colours and as much as I wanted to be ostentatious about it by wearing several bracelets, bangles, bulky earrings... the works; all my jewelry seemed to clash with one another so once again I decided to keep it simple....So now I know what I'm going to spend my money on next! :)

To match the dress, I wore my comfiest, black, round toe stilettos, since it was a night out and to compliment it I wore a gold one piece oval necklace which helped brighten up the look.

Have a nice weekend! XO!

Heeeyyy!! So I tried putting up another post this week, but I find it really hard to be able to work for two Fashion Marketing Internships and update my blog at the same time (Yes! I got the Internships and I am sooo happy!! :) )...So I have decided to post once a week, give or take depending on the circumstances, rather than procrastinating my way through this.

My Birthday was celebrated for like 3 consecutive days, but on the actual day I went shopping to Westfields in London, dined in Edgware Road, and came home to a surprise where a few friends of mine hid in my room with a cake and a few presents.

So, today I would like to share with you guys what I wore on the actual day of my 21st birthday; a white crop top with a gold zip front and cut out sides combined with a green high waisted skirt. I loved how these pastel colours are so soothing and normally I'm the type of girl that likes to wear neon, bright colours, so it was a different but nice look.

As much as I was hoping for it to be sunny and warm that day, it was a bit chilly in the evening so I wore a beige jacket over the top, which to be honest was the only jacket I had that matched my outfit and I kind of liked the look of it. Other than that, to complete the soothing look I carried a nude pink bag and wore nude pink shoes.

I usually go light on the eyeshadow unless I am going out at night, or it's a special occasion, and the fact that it was my birthday I decided to go all out with the smokey eyes effect. I used the Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow palette which is my absolute fav, and honestly I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy eyeshadows, so click the link above if you are interested, it's about £36.00 in the UK but it's completely worth it. I am so addicted to it that I'm worried that some of my favourite shades are going to run out soon, which means another trip to the store is in order. Yaaaayy!! :)

Until my next post! x

Black Short Mesh Panel Fit and Flare Dress

- Black short mesh panel fit and flare dress from Republic - £25.99
- Black and zebra printed peep-toe stiletto from Marypaz, Madrid - €25.99
- Silver necklace and earrings from Swarovski - £99.99 (gift)
- Guess silver heart bracelet - £50.00 (gift)

(You know how bad I am at recalling prices of apparel, so the above is more or less what each item costs)

Hey hey hey!
Sorry for taking long in writing up my next post, been pretty busy showing my cousin around London, filling in job applications and with interviews, but I promise I won't ever keep you guys waiting that long again.

I bought this black short mesh panel fit and flare dress from Republic in Westfield, London on my Birthday (April, 2013) and still haven't found the right occasion to wear it, but I definitely look forward to wearing it soon.  I love how this dress flaunts my curves, as it's fitted from the top and loose from the bust line and below, hiding any possible unwanted love-handles. I feel that the colour and material of the dress enhance my look even more.

This dress is ideal for several occasions such as dinners and parties; as long as you know how to mix and match it with the right accessories.

This time I decided to go simple and combined it with a silver necklace and earrings from Swarovski as well as a bracelet from Guess. These accessories can be worn at anytime of the day and extensively complement most outfits. Other than that, I absolutely adore these peep-toe stilettos; in order to wear them more often I try to match them with anything possible as long as it looks good. But, since the bottom of the heels have a zebra print it's pretty difficult to combine it with many of my outfits. I bought these heels while I was in Madrid during my Easter holidays and I am so glad that I did, especially now that the sun is out, I look forward to wearing them much more.

Until my next post, have a lovely day!

Pink Bralet & Black Mullet Skirt

-River Island coral texture bralet - £20.00
-Long high waste mullet skirt with a black belt -
-Black leather spiky jacket from Forever 21-
-Black and gold necklace from Primark - £9.00
-Black and gold earrings to match with the necklace -

I am absolutely in with love bralets and crop tops, especially now that the weather is getting better I feel like you guys are going to be seeing a lot of them on here. I combined it with a long high wasted black mullet skirt to better enhance the colours, to avoid going too crazy and showing my belly or too much of my legs, as it also helps to keep your figure look right (for those concerned of wearing crop tops or short skirts).

I bought this leather jacket in an outlet in Houston, Texas, in February 2013, which is the reason why I don't really remember the price and don't want to be misguiding anyone, just in case. This photo was taken, when we went to TopGolf in Surrey, London, and has an amazing background, I know! :) I wear this jacket quite often, because it matches a lot of my outfits, whether they are casual or smart casual, and I usually never zip it up.

I straightened my hair and let it loose, which is my usual look, for when I am out with my friends and I wore a pair of  black and gold earrings and a necklace to match my outfit to stop it from looking too simple or going overboard.

Pemplum Top & High Skirt

-White Primark peplum top, that´s laced from the back and from the sides in front
-Red high skirt from New Yorker - €9.00
-Michael Kors golden rose watch - £259.00
-Black Primark summer wedges - £14.00
-Diamond looking earrings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - £5.00

I can´t believe I am actually writing out my first fashion post!

I feel the combination of the red skirt and white peplum top could be considered to be a smart/casual look. At first, I didn´t like what peplum tops looked like, but as soon as I tried one on, I kept purchasing them in different style and colours, especially on my trip to Houston, Texas- love the clothes out there!

I bought these shoes to be able to walk around in them during my daily summer days, without having to go through the pain of wearing heels and looking good...and this is weird because while you are in them they are darn comfy but when you take them off, you regret having worn them in the first place, BUT its totally worth it! Right girls? Haha..As Benjamin Franklin said, 'there is no pain without gain.'

I absolutely love these earrings! I feel like these earrings enhance my look and when I try choosing a different pair, I always end up wearing these, also considering that they match most of my outfits. Besides, I pinned my hair back to soften my look, make it more fresh, young and be able to show my earrings off.

This Michael Kors watch; the specific model and colour, was a gift from someone, and I love that person to bits because I always wanted this and take care of it as if it was my baby.

Also, the weather recently has been quite pleasant, so we took these photos in my terrace, and I hope to blog as much as possible now that the sun is out and I´m excited for Summer'13. :)
