A Quick Catch up on Some of theTrends of 2013

Hello Strangers !

I'm so sorry that I have been M.I.A! All the work load and lack of sleep, hasn't let me keep up with my blog posts, so today, instead, I decided to look up on and have a quick catch up of some of the trends of 2013!

PS. I will still be updating this post with much more trends, so keep posted! XO

It's all about London Fashion Week !!

Heyy Guyss!

I'm so overjoyed this week with London Fashion Week and the fact that I'm officially moving back to Spain by the end of this month! I got the job that I was hoping to get in this amazing, well-known marketing agency back in Madrid and I'm starting to work there this October! That also means that I have sooo much to do in such little time; like pack my in-numerous number of clothes and post them back home ASAP.

Getting back on topic to London Fashion Week; I was invited to see Matthew O'Brien's collection and designs by Marina Prokopiva (who I'm interning with) as her jewelry was worn by his models on the catwalk.

The second picture above, is a little sneak-peak of this fall's fashion from a couple of designers such as; Cassandra AmorĂ©, Bibhusaa, Taslima K, Marie MacSharry and Matthew O'Brien. Nonetheless, for those of you who have me on Facebook will be able to see videos of "Fashion's Finest" show, in a little bit more detail.

My favourite designer from the "London's Fashion Week off schedule show" was Marie MacSharry; I liked almost all of the outfits that were showcased and I feel like it was the one that I could most relate to.

I was really indecisive when it came down to choosing what to wear for the show, but I finally chose to wear a black long maxi skirt that is figure-fit at the top with a pistachio coloured crop-top and stiletto black heels.

I bought this skirt from Forever 21, Hong Kong and absolutely love it as it gives off more of a elegant look in comparison to my other skirts because of its different material, which was just what I needed, as I didn't want to walk in with a crop-top and maxi skirt portraying a trashy kind of look. The skirt's also transparent from half way down my thighs and is attached to a plaited black belt at the top which makes it even more trendier.

I loved the colour of this pistachio crop-top, the fact that it contrasted so well with the skirt and that I managed to show off a bit of my belly without looking so shabby, was exactly the look that I wanted to go for. I combined this outfit with a black leather zipped clutch, my out of town, black suede stiletto heels from office (as seen in my previous post; http://divs30.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/black-suede-sided-leather-dress.html) and a black and gold floral necklace that I don't remember where I bought from.

For those of you'll wondering that I have the same shoes as my friend; the one in blue, those are mine! I got my friend to come with me, which was very last minute, and because she didn't have appropriate clothes to assist me to this show, she chose a couple of things from my wardrobe and put a fab outfit together! :)

Until my next post! XO

Heeeyy!!

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I said my work would take over my life again, and surprise, surprise, IT HAS! Thus, I'm going back to post once a week.

So this week, I'm going to talk about the outfit I wore to Drury; a new club in Covent Garden, London. It consists of a black suede sided leather dress that I bought from H&M in Hong Kong. Again, like my previous post, this is a body-hugging dress and because of its suede sides and its black colour, it's much more flattering! The good thing about it, is that you can wear this dress for a hot date or for a night out with the girls, and choose how to dress it up by combining it with silver or gold accessories.

I paired it with understated jewelry, a simple silver cuff from Forever 21, and silver Swarovski earrings, but to avoid it from looking very simple I curled my hair with my "Remington Pearl Hair Curling Wand" (as seen in the picture on the right) and wore a matte bright red lipstick with killer black stiletto heels from Office and a black leather zipped clutch.

I really liked the overall look, it wasn't too over the top or too simple, for those of you looking to go for that curly look, I definitely recommend that curling wand, I mentioned earlier.

Have a fab week!

Royal Blue Laced Back Bodycon Dress

- Royal Blue Laced Back Bodycon Dress from Pull&Bear -

- Rees 2 Part High Heels from Topshop -
- Large Classic Flap Bag from Chanel - £3,230

- Gold peace signed earrings -

- Gold necklace -

Heeeey!!

I'm going to go straight to the point this time, as I know that some of you'll have been waiting for this one! But, WOAAH, I just realised it's been a while since I featured in an evening dress!!

We have previously seen this trendy colour on celebrities, such as Blake Lively, Eva Mendez, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton, so if you want to make an impression, blue is the way to go!

The outfit I wore consists of a royal blue bodycon dress that features an open laced back and sides that helps to highlight my curves, besides, I reaally like this royal blue colour on me but I just feel that it would look even better on those with a slightly more tanned skin than mine.

Additionally, to make it look even more luxurious, I wore my rees 2 part high heels from Topshop that I absolutely love as they are suede black sandal stilettos with a gold bar around the ankle. I feel it gives the look and the dress, in general, a whole new superior perspective but I couldn't find these on the website, as I purchased them from Topshop, Hong Kong. Nevertheless, I've been told that the fashion hits those streets first, so maybe it will be a while for it to touch London town.
I also piled on some accessories such as a gold necklace and peace signed earrings, which I don't remember where I bought from, but I'm sure there are similar ones out there, especially in terms of the necklace.

I used my Chanel bag for these pictures but I ended up taking my clutch from Prada (coming up soon) to the party instead as we all know that chunky, big bags are good for daytime use but small bags do it for a night out.

Have a good day! XO

- Black Racer Back Top -

- Black, Gwenda Pointed Court Shoes from Topshop - £58.00

- Gold Tone Chunky Double Curb Chain from River Island - £10.00

- Large Classic Flap Bag from Chanel - £3,230

- Chanel Stud Earrings from Malaysia -

Heyaa!

I cant't believe I'm writing up so many posts lately, but its only because one of my bosses is on holiday for this week, otherwise I know I wouldn't be able to cope as much. Sooner or later, I will go back to posting once a week but whenever I see that I can, I'll additionally post something up, to help make up for the loss time, for when I'm on holiday.

Having said that, actually, my cousins and I are planning on going to Thailaaaand this Christmas! Yes, that means a hot Christmas & New Years, getting a tan and summer all over again! I'm so excited, I JUST CANT WAIT!!!

I don't want to bore you with that though (or at least for now) as it's a long way ahead, so lets get back on topic...

NEVER have you EVER seen me in pants (and I mean trousers), so have a good look!! I feel that this smart look can work for an interview/lunch with your boss/a day out with your friends or even for a date. I personally wore it out for a lunch with my boss in Central London as well as to see a friend from Madrid who was holidaying around here. I really like the look of these leggings and because they're so thick it would be more appropriately worn in the winter but they can be pulled off throughout the year, especially for those Londoners.

I wore these leggings with a simple, black racer back top so that the colour could blend in and I could avoid looking overdressed (as usual). I found that it looked too dull, however, especially as I going to meet my friend for a few cocktails after, so I embellished the look by adding on a gold tone chunky double curb chain which wasn't too professional of me, taking in account that I'm going for a lunch with my boss before, but unlike any other boss, he's more chilled out and I did have to make my fashion statement as he's in the fashion industry himself, (same applies for the red lips).

Additionally, I combined it with gwenda pointed low court shoes to give it more of a formal and elegant touch.

Stay tuned, to read my next post and see what I wore on a night out in London!

Neon Coral Crocheted Lace Tank with a Black, Short, Figure-Fit Skirt and Espadrille Peep Toe Wedges

-Neon Coral, Crocheted Lace Tank from Forever 21 - £10.50

-Black, Short, Figure-Fit Skirt from H&M - £3.99

-Espadrille Peep Toe Wedges - £29.90
(See link, for more detail:

-Large Classic Flap Bag from Chanel - £3,230

Heyy Guys!

How have you been? Hope those make up posts helped and encouraged you to buy some of the items you never heard of; as some of you'll mentioned to me earlier.

Today we are going to talk about the daytime outfit you can see from the pictures above.

The neon crocheted lace tank pulls off a very summery look because of its colour and the fact that it is semi- transparent and floral patterned from the front. In the link above, the model wears it with a similar toned bandeau, which I don't like much as I feel like it's killing the vibe, so instead, I wore it with a black bra to contrast it from the neon coral and highlight the pattern even more.

Additionally, the black skirt supports that contrast and for those of you who know me, know that I wear this skirt so often and I absolutely love it! I definitely recommend this skirt; as it's cheap, comfortable and convenient to match it with several items, whether its hot or not.

I love dressing up and sometimes, I go over the top, so I felt like wearing the espadrille peep toe wedges, would help dress up the look and obviate it from looking that dull, simple and casual.

I carried a large classic flap bag from Chanel, A.K.A. my new baby. It's bigger than my other silver classic flap bag so it's so practical for me as it fits everything I need; such as my make up, wallet, house keys with a dozen key rings, phone etc. Personally, I just love the look of it, its smooth, matte and soft so if your looking to buy a bag and saving up, I do definitely recommend this one as its also timeless, stylish and classy.

Keep Posted, for my next look! XO

It's ALL About The Make Up, Girls! (PART 4/4)

Some people put their foundation on with their hands, or use a blending sponge whilst other use brushes! It's important to clean your make up brushes regularly as they harbour dirt and bacteria that can cause spots. You can clean your brushes with shampoo or for example, use MAC's own brush cleanser solution.

Let's start off with the biggest brush in the picture, 150 Large Powder Brush from MAC. This ones used for loose or pressed powder products application. I don't really like this brush too much as it's so big, so instead, I use the 116 Blush Brush from MAC (the one above the 150), that is used for sculpting shaping and blending powder products.

Above that, is the 242 Shader Brush from MAC, which is used for the application and blending of powder, concealer, or emollient-based products, but I personally just use it to apply my concealer as its small and helps cover up small detail around my eyes and other imperfections.

Above that, is the 191 square foundation brush from MAC which is used to apply and blend emollient and water-based foundation and cheek products, such as liquid foundation. It is also, additionally soft as its made of synthetics.

The one above that, is the 188 small duo fibre face brush from MAC, that is used for the light application of powder, emollient or water based foundation and cheek products. Clearly, as you can see from the picture above, I just use it to apply my blush.

I don't remember where my Eyelash Curler is from, but usually it's fairly cheap and it's a shortcut to wide-eyed natural beauty that also helps volumizing mascara resulting in maximum impact.

The pink Blending Sponge is extra handy as its pointed end can be used to apply foundation or concealer around the nose or eyes and the rounded end for make up such as cream, mineral, liquid foundation or blush to the rest of the face. Other than that, it's easy to clean; as all you have to do is squeeze it under soapy water, several times.

In terms of make up brushes, I occasionally use the next 4 brushes (to the left of this picture) for eyeshadow blending and application. The first brush from the left of the picture is double-sided, one side is used for blush application (which I've never used before) and the other, I use to blend my eyeshadow with. The third brush from the left of the picture, is also double-sided, where one side I use to "millionize" my eyelashes and shape my brow with, whilst, the other side again, is use for eyeshadow application. I bought this set from Superdrug in London for around £10 and found it totally advantageous and worth it.

Keep posted for my next posts; back to outfits!

It's ALL About The Make Up, Girls! (PART 3/4)

MAC, NARS, Benefit, Rimmel, L'Oreal, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent,  Forever 21 and Urban Decay
The product that looks like a deodorant stick, on the top left, is the "Fine-One-One" Sheer brightening color for both cheeks and lips from Benefit. For the first time ever 3 shades come together in one cream- to-powder; pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral. I personally don't use this product for both the cheek and lips as I don't really like my blush to be creamy and for additional hygiene purposes (patting it with tissue should be fine, for some) yet I do love the nude pink colour finish it has on my lips and I wear it very often.
(See with more detail here: http://www.beautezine.com/benefit-fine-one-one/)

On the bottom left, we have the "Dandelion Ultra Plush" Lip Gloss from Benefit. It's a soft pearly pink tone that is extra smooth and (most importantly) has a non-sticky feel. It feels like its moisturizing your lips while making them look glamorous unlike other lip glosses. I recently bought this one, and have been using it A LOT ever since.
(See with more detail: http://www.johnlewis.com/benefit-ultra-plush-lip-gloss-dandelion/p231653844)

Next to that is the "Nude Delight" Moisture Renew Lipstick from Rimmel.
(See with more detail here: http://www.styles2day.com/2010/09/lip-swatch-rimmel-london-moisture-renew.html)
I personally bought this lipstick because I liked another tone similar to this one that was out of stock. I love the nude colour of it, the fact that is moisturizes my lips at the same time, how smooth it is and the beautiful finish it has but its not very long lasting so I decided it to combine it with the "APOCALIPS, NUDE ECLIPSE" Lip Lacquer from Rimmel thats add on a rich intense colour, a satin smooth shine to it and helps it last longer.
(See here, not included in the picture above: http://rubybox.co.za/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/r/i/rimmel_600x6004.jpg)

Next up is my favourite Matte "Ruby Woo" Red lipstick from MAC. I first saw this one on my cousin and it was L.O.V.E at first sight. Girls, NO! It's not like any other red lipstick that can be replaced, this one is actually WORTH ALL THE MONEY! Everybody knows that MAC is known for their good quality, especially if it comes to their lipsticks. Ruby Woo, is sexy, bold and very long lasting, I think I can actually say that if theres no eating involved, it would stay on for the whole night? I absolutely love the matte red lips and I know, with experience, that this will make a statement on everyone.
(See with more detail here: http://s9.thisnext.com/media/largest_dimension/44054259.jpg)

Side by side to that, is the L'Oreal Contour KhĂ´l 131 Jet Black Eye Pencil which is a combination of oil and wax resulting of a long lasting and intense colour result. This was an eye pencil that I had found in my make up pile, when I realised that my (black) Dior Long Wear Waterproof Eyeliner 0094 (next item to the left) was coming to its end. This Dior eyeliner is what I have been using ever since I owned an eye pencil and it comes with a sharpener of its own, so I absolutely love it! It's waterproof and it has two sides to it; one the eye liner itself and on the other, there's a foam, to help create a smokey eye effect. Additionally, it offers an intense colour, so for those of you who tear a lot or often look like a panda, won't have a problem with this one!

To the right, is the Yves Saint Laurent Liquid Eyeliner Moiré (colour: 1 steel reflections - steel grey with shimmer) that has an easy-to-handle, flexible brush and an intense bold colour that lasts a very long time. I personally bought this one, as I started using my mom's as a kid, and gradually grew up buying it every time I ran out. I used to love the effect of it on my eyes as the colour is similar to any black eyeliner though it has a different glow to it. Sometimes, however, I use a bold black eye liner, to better highlight the colour of my eyes.

Next, we have the L'Oreal Mega Volume Collagene 24h Extra Black Mascara. Now we all know that L'Oreal is known to be good for their Mascaras so I went out to buy this one to replace the Volume Million Lashes Extra Black Mascara by L'Oreal which was really good BUT I just wanted to try this one out too. The Mega Volume Collagene, has a super sized brush which helps take out all the liquid inside the mascara to give you the volume that your looking for but I can't get over how the brush from the Million Lashes would literally "millionize" your lashes by separating any clumps. So I recommend getting the Mega Volume Collagene 24H Extra Black Mascara with one of those sharp brushes that will "millionize" your lashes and separate your clumps.

The next two items to the right are "All over Glitter, Face/Illuminators in Gold and Silver" from Forever 21. I bought these from an outlet in Houston, in February, so unsure if they are still available, but if they are, I definitely recommend it as its not too pricey and you can use it all over your face and body. Usually, I use it around my eyes to highlight them for a night out.

Next up, to the back right, is my fav eyeshadow palette;  Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay. It's part of a sequel and is packed with 12 pigment-rich Taupe and Greige neutral eyeshadow colours allowing you to go from pale to matte to sparkly to smokey dramatic eyes and everything in between. Along with the palette comes a travel size junkie lipgloss and a double-ended shadow/crease brush. To make it even more exciting, each eyeshadow colour has a specific name too it, and my favourite one is called "bootycall" not because of the name, but because of the actual colour, it's the one that I've most used (as highlighter or a simple base colour) and I'm running out of.

The last item and in this picture is the Andy Warhol, limited edition self portrait 1, eyeshadow palette from Nars. I got it as a gift for having spent over £160 in store. It's a portrait of the artist as a perfect palette combining three different eyeshadow colours.

I've never used it as I don't see myself wearing colours such as; bright periwinkle blue and vibrant green, but it is something I'll always keep in my make up stash.

I do, however, recommend it for those people that do or don't mind wearing those colours, as I've seen how a professional make up artist combines these colours beautifully together.

Keep posted for part 4; useful make up brushes! XO

It's ALL About The Make Up, Girls! (PART 2/4)

This ones all about NARS.  NARS has been around for a couple of years and even though many people have just recently gotten to know about it, many still haven't. NARS is a bit more pricey than MAC and some think of it to be better than MAC. I personally feel it depends on each product however.

The Primer, which is the black tube in the back right, has an SPF of 30 so it can be worn alone as sunscreen or to just create a smooth complexion. I have just recently purchased this primer, so I've personally only used it once as I still have my MAC ones to use up too but I definitely think that the MAC one feels much smoother. The primer from NARS however is oil-free, refines the look of pores and keeps the skin hydrated so I wouldn't be able to choose between one primer or the other, but I do recommend at least one of them.

"Medium 4, Barcelona Sheer Matte" Foundation is to the left of the primer, just like the MAC liquid foundation in my previous post, NARS has its own liquid foundation that is a little bit more pricey but apparently has better coverage. I say the word "apparently" because I have not used it myself yet, but one of my close friends told me that its her absolute fav and how amazing it is and judging by her looks, skin and make up, I went for it! I also decided to go for it as she has the same skin type as I do; what you call the "combination skin" where some parts of my face are dry while the T-zone is oily, or thats what I've been told that I have.

To the left of that, is my fav blush! It's called "Orgasm" and it has a matte texture with a bit of shimmer on it that helps stimulate your complexion with a high-intensity of flush. I can definitely tell you that this is my Nº 1 as I've previously tried so many different types of blush and never been this satisfied with one before.

Up front we have the "Translucent Crystal" Light Reflecting Setting (Loose) Powder. I prefer this one over the MACs loose powder as at times, the MAC one tends to leave patches behind and as this one is translucent it avoids that.

My MAC concealer is really dark but I feel that because its so dark its sooo fabulous at having a good coverage for both under the eyes and any pores. Someone told me that my eyes should be the lightest bit of my face however, so I purchased the "Medium 2, Ginger" Radiant Creamy Concealer for under and over my eyes, as its much lighter and it would highlight my eyes in general as well as hide any imperfections without leaving any creases. I cant wait to see how this mix will work?

Keep posted for Part 3; Benefit, Rimmel, L'Oreal, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Urban Decay, and Part 4; useful make up brushes!

It's ALL About The Make Up, Girls! (PART 1/4)

MAC, Revlon, NARS, Benefit, Rimmel,  L'Oreal, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Urban Decay

Heeeyy!!!

Sorry for the delay in publishing this post, I just got back from Hong Kong a couple of days ago which was absolutely AMAZING, and getting back to the same old routine and managing work of both internships has been pretty hectic.

From the above, you'll must have already noticed that today's post is going to be a little different; Yes, I am going to show you some of the make up I use (but this isn't a tutorial).

There are a lot of products (as you can see from the picture above), distinguishing each and every one is going to be a mission, so please bear with me...

The picture below, consists of mostly MAC products (except for the last 2 products at the back right, going off the picture). So starting from the top left, we have a big pot of Mineralize Loose Foundation (powder). It's worn on top of your liquid foundation to properly set the make up on your face and avoid that "pasty look". This also works as a bronzer, for me, as its slightly darker which thereby gives me more coverage. For those of you who think that have a similar skin tone, the tone colour I'm using is called "Medium Plus", but I strongly recommend you to ask someone working in the store before purchasing anything, they know what they're doing!

The second product on the top right, is the Studio Fix Liquid Foundation. I have used many other liquid foundations but I feel that this one in particular helps with coverage again and I just really like the look and finish of it. Additionally, it's oil free and includes SPF 15, to protect your skin from the sun.  The tone colour I use is called "NW25".

The long, black bottle at the back is the Primer; the first and most important thing to put on your face before applying your make up. It act as a protective layer (reduces chances of acne), helps soothe the skin, gets rids of any excess oils and improves the application of foundation.

Next up is the Studio Finish Concealer. There are people that wear their concealer before their foundation, after their foundation, or before and after their foundation for extra coverage and I am from the ones who wears it before my foundation. This concealer is so creamy, smoothening and concentrated that it helps cover most of my imperfections. Additionally, like the liquid foundation, it has an SPF of 35. The tone colour I use, just like the liquid foundation, is "NW25", its much more darker but it's the reason behind such good coverage results.

To the right of the concealer is the "Warm Soul" Mineralize Blush,  my second fav! I chose to use this tone, as it's in between the reds and the browns, and when it comes to blush, I'm usually one who goes for either a red or a reddish brown tone.

Under the mineralize loose foundation powder (bottom left), is my "Painterly" Paint Pot. This is my eyeshadow primer and I love the intensity of the shadows after I have applied this primer below as well as the way how my eyeshadow stays all night even though I'm having a crazy night out. I definitely recommend this colour as its so neutral (on my type of skin tone) and it avoids getting in the way of any other eyeshadow colours.

The one to the right of the paint pot and up front, is the "Vapour" Eye Shadow, I bought this one in particular as well as the "Texture" Eye Shadow because I loved how the make up artist in store, wonderfully blended them together. Sometimes, I also use it as a highlighter as it has a bit of glitter in it and it blends well giving you a non-artificial look.

"Texture" Eye Shadow, is the brown eyeshadow up front, it has a tiny sparkle to it but looks almost matte and doesn't seem so dark once applied to the skin. As mentioned above, I usually use it on my crease when with nude and white eye shadow colours.

The last MAC product in this picture is the "Flicker" Pressed Pigment (back right of the Texture eye shadow). It's a creamy, yellow- tinged white that looks silver-ish, its used as a highlighter but can be used in various ways and I personally just love the finish of this product.

Now that we're done with the MAC products, next up is Revlon. This is the only product that I personally use from Revlon and its called the "Brighten Colourstay" Highlighter, and is a mineral finishing powder that gives an instant glow to your face. It has a lot of shimmer, so even though you can apply it all over your face, I only recommend using it as a highlighter around the eyes and maybe over the nose. It gives an amazing finish and is generally cheaper to other highlighters like for example from MAC. I strongly recommend this one, hopefully after some of you have read this, you will soon know what I'm talking about and own one yourself. :)
(Please see link below, for a clearer picture: http://www.makeuptalk.com/t/124539/revlon-colorstay-mineral-finishing-powder-in-010-brighten)

Next up, is Da Vinci Cosmetics, many of you'll must have not heard this one. I bought this Serenity Mineral Eye Shadow Stack, holding 9 different colours and shades. The shades go from White to Dark brown which includes a gold-ish yellow, a pink nude, and a reddish brown chopper tone (similar to the one from the Naked 2 Palette). The lady who sold me this stack, also mentioned that it can be used for multi-purposes such as lipgloss (once combined with vaseline or some kind of clear gloss) and nail polish (when combined with a clear nail varnish). Once she mentioned that, I purchased this stack instantly, but until now I'm afraid to use it in any other way other than eye shadow. If any of you already have or plan to use this one in any other way, let me know how that turns out!
(See a clearer picture here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=486499798084601&set=a.486499521417962.1073741834.169600709774513&type=3&theater)

As I went along writing this post, I figured out it would be too long for you to keep reading on and on about each make up item from different brands, so I've decided to break it up in parts now. Hope this post helped, cleared out any doubts you'll had and gave you many more ideas.

Please stay tuned for my next few posts on NARS, Benefit, Rimmel,  L'oreal, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Urban Decay.

Have a great day!  :)

Bright, Salmon Pink, Peplum Looking Top With a Short, High Black Bodycon Skirt

Bright, salmon pink, peplum looking top from Houston, Texas -
Short, high, black bodycon skirt - (See similar here: http://www.wearall.com/7675-new-ladies-bandage-bodycon-ladies-panel-skirt-8-14.html)
Grey wedges from Miss Selfridge - £65.00
Black cardigan from H&M - £10.00
Swarovski clear crystal pave heart necklace - (Gift) £99.00 (As mentioned on my last post:
http://divs30.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/white-flowy-layered-short-dress-on.html)

Heyyyy! :)

So, the good news is that by the time you will be reading this post, I will be on a flight to Honk Kong!!! & I'm SOOO EXCITED!!!

I wore this outfit for dinner as well as for a short stroll by the river with a few friends. I wore a bright, salmon pink, peplum looking top that contrasted very well with my high, short, black bodycon skirt making me flaunt my curves whilst avoiding showing any unwanted lumps and bumps (which is what most of us want, right?)

I combined it with a pair of dull, grey wedges as well as a Swarovski clear crystal pave heart necklace to top the look up and go for more of a smarter look.

Unfortunately, for those of you living in London, it seems like the summer is already over, even though it started so late, and only stayed for a couple of days...Having said that, I wore a black cardigan on top of my bright, salmon pink, peplum looking top, as it has netted thick straps merging into a criss-cross at the top of my back and is backless till my mid-back.

Hope you guys are having a wonderful summer! It's finally my turn!!!!

I believe I'll return with a bag of innumerable new clothes, for you to see in my future posts...

So please keep posted !! :)

White, Flowy, Layered, Short Dress on Royal Blue High Heeled Wedges

-White, flowy, layered, short dress from Bershka, Spain -
-Swarovski clear crystal pave heart necklace - £99.00 (gift)
-Swarovski stud earrings from Groupon (2 pairs one black and one silver) - £10.00 (gift)
-Royal blue high heeled wedge from Office - £50.00 (http://www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,37/1313330000)

Heyaaa!
So as promised in my last post, this is my second post this week! :)

I wore this outfit on a night out in Central London, Boujis, all you londoners MUST have heard of it! I wanted the perfect outfit to match my new royal blue high heeled wedges, because they are so darn comfy and I was excited to wear them, dance in them and show them off!
I instantly fell in love with the wedges as the royal blue caught my eye when I saw them in the shop's display window. Coincidently, I had my toe nails painted orange, which totally matched with the royal blue wedges. I really liked the look of that!

I wanted to wear a black dress with it to complete the look and create a big impact, BUT (there are always buts aren't they?), the last time I went out, I wore a black dress. Yes, that's right. It was also in the same club and it was that black side cut-out dress that I posted about, a few weeks ago. (http://divs30.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/black-side-cutout-dress.html). So I decided to go for more of a summery, hawaiian look. I ended up wearing a really old, white, short, flowy, layered dress that I bought from Bershka in Madrid, a few years back. As long as the shoes match eyy! ;)

The dress helped by covering any unwanted lumps, as it's layered and flowy and even though it's quite short it didn't make me uncomfortable at any moment! I definitely recommend these types of dresses for those women who are slightly conscious of bits and bobs of their body, I own many of these myself. Remember, simple dresses can appear to be something more by knowing how to combine it the right way! Additionally, this look will look fabulous on those who have beautifully bronzed up this summer, unlike me, tanned legs IS the key!!!

In addition to the wedges, I wore a crystal pave heart necklace from Swarovski as well as a pair of black pearl stud earring from Swarovski to go with the white dress. I also opted to let my hair straight and loose as most of this summer I let my curls do the job, and it just wouldn't feel right on a night out, otherwise.

Have a lovely day! XO

-Black rope chain from Miss Selfridge - £14.00
-Gold earrings -
-Michael Kors rose gold watch - £259.00 (seen before in a couple of my previous posts)

Hey Guys!
So sorry it took so long to put my next post up! It really has been so hectic at my end, with new tasks from both of my internships and just a load of work, but I promise I'll put up another post this week to make up for it! :)

So moving on to the outfit... I'd say I'm going for a smart-casual look; even though I'm wearing a black high waist skater skirt, it's not that short and for those who do think it is, it's adjustable, so it's perfect! The textured blue long cropped top makes the look even more smarter so considering that, I have tucked it in the skirt to portray an even neater look. Simultaneously, this top is actually V-necked but doesn't show a lot of flesh, in fact it shows just the right amount, especially if you are trying to go for that smart look. Moreover, I feel that if you wore this blue long cropped top with high waisted jeans it would look spectacular!

In terms of the colours, I love how a light blue colour goes with the black, making the outfit suitable to be worn during the day or night, but of course, this would depend on how you combine it with the accessories you own!

I wore this outfit out for dinner with a few friends, so I went for more of an evening look. I combined it with my black stiletto sandals which made it look even more formal and classy. To top it up even more, I also combined it with my black rope chain, gold hoop earrings and my Michael Kors watch, of course. I usually don't let my curly hair down but as you can see I actually did leave it loose here.

PS. I'm still letting my hair air dry, in the second picture!

(Hmmm, I wonder if this look would be appropriate for an interview?)

Until my next post! XO

Low Cut, Jungle Green, Short, Layered, Flowy Dress

Heya!
First of all I would like to start off by saying that no matter how simple your dress, skirt or outfit is there is always a way to stand out and look fabulous!

Today is all about showing off a casual summer look!

I wore this low cut, jungle green, short, layered, flowy dress that I bought from a boutique in Indonesia and adored the look of it! The layers complimented my body and hid any awkward lumps even though I was still able to show my flesh around and build on that uneven tan! The overall style and swirl of dress somehow kind of reminded me of my childhood flamenco and sevillana days even though the dresses are soo different!!!

To go with the dress I thought of wearing my flip flops, because it was sooo HOT, but this seemed to tone down the look even more as the dress was so simple on it own already. So instead I wore my new black stiletto sandals from River Island which helped spruce up the whole look, as well as small Chanel stud earrings to keep a steady look and not have people think that I'm going on a night out! I also carried my H&M sunglasses, which was gifted to me by my cousin, as the sun was out in full force (never thought I'd experience this in London) as well as my Chanel daily bag that was gifted to me by my dad! :)

As it was so hot to go through the whole straightening procedure, I once again air dried my hair and  pinned it up with a small hair clip.

Hope you're all having a lovely day!
